Case Builder · Coming soon

Your whole case, in one place that makes sense.

Three case numbers, a hundred documents, sixty dated events, and a hearing in two weeks. Case Builder holds it all: a master timeline, your arguments with evidence mapped to each, deadlines that don't sneak up on you — and a clean hearing mode for the courtroom or Zoom.

What it does

Nothing like this exists for people representing themselves.

Practice-management software is built for law firms, at law-firm prices. Case Builder takes the same discipline — timeline, issues, exhibits, deadlines — and shapes it for the person living the case.

Case dashboard

Captions, case numbers, court dates with countdowns, and your action items — for one case or the DVPO-custody-support trio running in parallel. The norm, not the exception.

Master timeline

Every dated event in one living view, linked to its evidence, filterable by issue, and exportable to PDF or Word. The chronology that took you a week to hand-build — maintained automatically.

Issue workspaces

One page per argument you're making: your notes, the other side's position, and every piece of mapped evidence from Evidence Helper. Your case, structured the way you'll present it.

Document library

Filings, orders, reports, correspondence — categorized your way, viewable in the browser, searchable in seconds. No more "which PDF was that in?"

Attorney handoff packet

One click generates the Evidence Index, Timeline, and per-issue summaries. Arrive at your $400-an-hour meeting organized — it's the single biggest legal-bill cutter we know.

Hearing mode

A clean, full-screen view of your exhibits and timeline — built for counsel table and for Zoom hearings, where screen-sharing a tidy exhibit beats fumbling through folders on camera.

How it works

Built on everything you've already organized.

  1. Your evidence flows in

Items from Evidence Helper, logs from Message Extractor, and communications from Comms Guard arrive already dated, tagged, and mapped.

  2. You shape the arguments

Define your issues, write your notes, link the evidence that supports each point. The issues are 100% yours — the product organizes, you decide.

  3. Walk in (or log in) ready

Countdown to the hearing, handoff packet for your attorney, hearing mode for the day itself.

Your arguments are yours

Case Builder never maps law to your facts and never tells you what to argue or file — that's legal advice, and we don't give it. The issues, the arguments, and the decisions are user-authored; the product keeps them organized and the evidence attached.

Common questions

Case Builder FAQ

Will it tell me what to argue or which motions to file?

No. That's legal advice, and software that gives it is software you shouldn't trust. Case Builder organizes the arguments you author and attaches the evidence you select. If you need strategy, the attorney handoff packet is designed to make that conversation with a real lawyer faster and cheaper.

Can I manage more than one case?

Yes — related cases (a protective order, a custody matter, and support, say) can run side by side with their own captions, deadlines, and documents, while sharing the evidence pool where it overlaps. Parallel case numbers are the norm in family court, and the product is built around that reality.

How does my attorney get access?

Invite them — attorney and advocate accounts are free and scoped to your case. They see your organized file and can work from it; your subscription carries the case. Attorney notes are kept in a separate work-product layer, excluded from exports by default.

What's "hearing mode" exactly?

A distraction-free, full-screen presentation view of your exhibits and timeline. In person, it keeps you composed at counsel table; on Zoom, it means screen-sharing one clean exhibit instead of your entire desktop. Many family court hearings are remote now — presenting cleanly is a real advantage.
